The Hurst Driveline Conversions BASIC TKO 5-speed kits include the following components

  1. Transmission. All new TKO-500 (500 HP/500 FT-LB) or TKO-600 (600 HP/600 FT-LB) transmission. Includes billet aluminum, multiple location capable, Tremec shifter. See chart below for available gear ratios.
  2. Slip yoke. Heavy duty Spicer 1330, 31 spline slip yoke.
  3. Speedometer cable/adapter. Custom mechanical speedometer cable with integrated adapter and gear. Electric speedometer kits are also available.
  4. Reverse light switch connector. Convenient pigtail connector for easy connection to factory wiring.
  5. Neutral safety switch harness. Can be wired into starter circuit.
  6. Transmission mount. Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount for long life and durability.
  7. Pilot bearing. Precision needle roller pilot bearing for long life & durability.
  8. Hardware kit. Complete specialty hardware kit for a hassle free installation.
  9. Installation instructions/information. Step-by-step, illustrated car model specific instruction manual to answer your most detailed questions and help you with your installation.
  10. Customer support. Unlimited, lifetime technical support from master GM mechanics. Rated #1 in customer support and service.

The Hurst Driveline Conversions Deluxe TKO kits include the following components

  1. Transmission. All new TKO-500 (500 HP/500 FT-LB) or TKO-600 (600 HP/600 FT-LB) transmission. Includes billet aluminum Tremec shifter (using the Tremec shifter requires minor modifications to your tunnel). For a no modification installation, the optional Hurst Blackjack, short throw offset shifter is required.
  2. Crossmember. Constructed from .120″ wall 1020 carbon steel tubing as found in NASCAR and NHRA approved roll bars. Unlike the less expensive and weaker box design crossmembers found elsewhere, our mandrel bent, tubular design provides for maximum torsional strength rigidity as well as lighter weight and is compact in size for maximum exhaust clearanceIncludes thick CNC cut flanges, precision TIG & MIG welding, and black powdercoating for a beautiful finish.
  3. Transmission mount. Energy Suspensionpolyurethane transmission mount for long life and durability.
  4. Speedometer cable/adapter. Custom mechanical speedometer cable with integrated adapter and driven gear. Electric speedometer kits are also available.
  5. Driveshaft. 3 1/2″ steel driveshaft complete with solid, sealed premium Spicer u-joints and heavy duty Spicer C6 slip yoke custom built for your car. All driveshafts are balanced using state-of-the-art equipment for a 500 HP rating when using street tires. Finished in gloss black. For higher horsepower applications aluminum driveshafts are available for an additional charge.
  6. Pilot bearing. Needle roller pilot bearing for long life and durability.
  7. Shift knob. HurstClassic 5-speed shift knob available in black or white.

  8. Clutch kit. Modern pedal effort, heavy duty clutch kit (425 HP). Complete with disc, diaphragm pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch alignment tool, and hardware.
  9. Clutch fork. GM clutch fork for your specific application.
  10. Flywheel. New replacement flywheel. Includes grade 8 flywheel bolt kit. Not available for Firebirds (must use billet flywheel).
