Each Hurst Driveline Conversions BASIC KIT includes the critical components required to convert your classic car to a modern Tremec 6-speed manual overdrive transmission. The BASIC kit is our most affordable kit offering you relaxed high-way cruising and using the Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed transmission. The Hurst Driveline Conversions BASIC T56 Magnum 6-speed kit includes the following components:
- Transmission. All new Tremec T56 MAGNUM6-speed manual overdrive transmission (700HP/700 FT-LB). Includes adjustable location Tremec shifter mechanism. See chart below for available gear ratios.
- Speedometer cable or VSS speed sensor. Custom mechanical speedometer cable with integrated adapter and driven gear or electronic VSS sensor pigtail for electronic speedometers.
- Electrical connectors. Reverse lock out sensor pigtail & reverse light pigtail connectors.
- Slip yoke.Heavy duty Spicer 31 spline slip yoke.
- Shift knob. Hurst 6-speed shift knob - available in black or white.
- Transmission mount. Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount for long life and durability.
- Pilot bearing. Precision needle roller pilot bearing for long life and durability.
- Hardware kit. Complete specialty hardware kit for a hassle free installation.
- Installation instructions/information.Step-by-step, illustrated, car model specific instruction manual to answer your most detailed questions and help you with your installation.

- LS SFI approved steel scattershield. Quicktime SFI approved steel scattershield with block saver plate and mounting hardware. For use with LS motor applications. $495
