Each Hurst Driveline Conversions ELITE KIT includes all of the components required to convert your 1967-69 Camaro or Firebird from an automatic to a modern Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed overdrive transmission. The ELITE KIT is our most complete kit for upgrading your existing automatic car to a modern 6-speed manual transmission. The Hurst Driveline Conversions ELITE T56 Magnum kit includes the following components:

1. Transmission. All new Tremec T56 MAGNUM 6-speed manual overdrive transmission (700HP/700 FT-LB). Includes adjustable location Tremec shifter mechanism. See chart below for available gear ratios.
2. Crossmember. Constructed from .120" wall 1020 carbon steel tubing as found in NASCAR and NHRA approved roll bars. Unlike the less expensive and weaker box design crossmembers found elsewhere, our mandrel bent tubular design provides for maximum torsional strength & rigidity as well as lighter weight and is compact in size for maximum exhaust clearance. Includes thick CNC cut flanges, precision TIG & MIG welding, and black powdercoating for a beautiful finish. Direct bolt-in!
3. Transmission mount. Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount for long life and durability.
4. Speedometer cable or VSS speed sensor. Custom mechanical speedometer cable with integrated adapter and driven gear or electronic VSS sensor pigtail for electronic speedometers.
5. Driveshaft. 3 1/2" steel driveshaft complete with solid, sealed premium Spicer u-joints and heavy duty Spicer C6 slip yoke custom built for your car. All driveshafts are balanced using state-of-the-art equipment for a 500 HP rating when using street tires. Finished in gloss black. For higher horsepower applications aluminum driveshafts are available for an additional charge.
6. Pilot bearing. Precision needle roller pilot bearing for long life and durability.
7. Bellhousing. Aluminum LS T56 bellhousing.
8. Street Performance clutch kit - 500HP. Modern pedal effort, heavy duty clutch kit (500 HP). Complete with disc, diaphragm pressure plate, flywheel, clutch alignment tool, flywheel bolts, and all hardware.
9. Flywheel. Nodular iron flywheel includes grade 8 flywheel bolt kit.
10. Shifter stick. Hurst chrome, flat bar shifter handle.
11. Shift knob. Hurst Classic 6-speed shift knob - available in black or white.
12. Console emblem. Console emblem with 6-speed shift pattern. Available for 1968-69 Camaros.
13. Electrical connectors. Reverse lock out sensor pigtail & reverse light pigtail connectors.
14. Hardware kit. Complete specialty hardware kit for a hassle free installation.
15. Installation instructions/information. Step-by-step, illustrated, car model specific instruction manual to answer your most detailed questions and help you with your installation.
